Entry: doc, the patient is alive! Sunday, July 30, 2006



a weak pulse, a faint thumping of the heart, a slow but steady breathing-- yes i am still alive. i have landed in one piece at this land where people have small slits for eyes. eyes that just blink at me whenever i ask them if they know how to speak in english. there's something about this city. the air is thick with some airborne ennui that penetrates my pores, causing my mind to become numb. i've yet to tell my (mis)adventures but right now, as my vocabulary won't stretch as it usually does, here is a summary of all my words---

good luck, hera! last time i was in china (few yrs ago) it sure was hell communicating with people there even those working in the hotel. very few know how to communicate in english. be safe! :)

no joke, 2 years?? that's a long time. even one year is. ah, but you'd survive, hera. you've got the spunk and wit to outlast all problems. just tell me when you need help and the corsair would sail to the shore over there..virtually, that is.

moks, supposedly for 2 years and contract ko. pero to make it more realistic for me, i will try to stay for one year..
